Things to make my 2012 Tax filing more bearable
In attempt to file my taxes earlier this year, I've invested in some green and useful stationary. Here are my top picks:
1. Mini Desktop Printing Calculator by Canon
2. Light Frixion Highlighting Marker by Pilot
Walking through my local Staples store, I've noticed there's starting to be a lot more green stationary made with recycled plastic. I was lucky to find this Printing Calculator by Canon that is made with recycled Canon copiers. This is proof that recycling your old printers really turns them into something useful! I also grabbed a pair of Paper Mate Biodegradable Pen that are advertised as biodegradable in your own backyard (As shown in picture 1).
The Pilot highlighter was really an unexpected discovery. It was after I was sold on the beautiful pattern design that I realized it states 'remove by friction' on them. Not expecting much of it, I was completely blown away by how well they 'erased'. I no longer have to deal with highlighter mistakes! Though not particularly 'green', these should go on to help me save lots of paper and stress! I highly recommend these to anyone who uses highlighters. I had so much fun erasing my mistakes as opposed to stressing over them :)
With less than $50 spent, now I just highlight, highlight, highlight, and add, add, add...
